8 Days Marrakech and Coast details :
Day 1: Arrival at Marrakech
Our staff will be waiting for you at the Airport, and transfer to your Riad. After checking in, if the time allows you, enjoy a guided tour of the city. Including the souk, Jemaa el Fna square, Saadian Tombs, and Majorelle Gardens. Overnight stay at the Riad with breakfast.
Day 2: Marrakech – Asni-Ouirgane-Tizi-n-Test-Taroudant
Departure from Marrakech towards Taroudant via a narrow road. The road takes us into the Oued N´Fis Valley, the cradle of the Almohads (North African Berber empire that dominated Muslim Spain in the late 12th century). Then climb the mountain to the Tizi-n-Test pass at 2,100 meters alt, offering breathtaking views of the desert and a staircase descent to Taroudant, a beautiful fortified town. Overnight stay in a hotel with dinner and breakfast.
Day 3: Taroudant – Chtouka Ait Baha-Tafraoute
Breakfast in the Riad, then cross a region of argan trees and olive groves to reach the Anti-Atlas, a copper production center that traded with Saharan caravans for centuries. Succession of mineral and desert landscapes, with terraces of almond trees in full bloom from February.
Day 4: Tafraoute – Goulmin-Sidi Ifni-Beach of Gzira
Breakfast in the hotel then cross the Tizi Kerdous pass (1100 m) with a stop to enjoy extraordinary views of the Ocean and the Anti-Atlas. Descend to Gloumin, a small town with a vibrant market, capital of the blue men. Continue along the coastal road to Sidi Ifni. Free time to explore the historic center. Overnight stay at the Gzira Beach hotels. Dinner and breakfast.
Day 5: Beach of Gzira – Tiznite – Agadir – Essaouira
Follow the road through extensive forests. Arrival at the famous silver city (Tiznit) where a short stop at the medina. Then to Agadir and Taghazout, a small fishing village, weather permitting. A 30-minute walk to the left of the village, along the coast, leads to a magnificent wild beach for swimming. Arrival in Essaouira late afternoon, visit the Mogador and its defenses. Overnight stay in a hotel. Bed and breakfast.
Day 6: Explore Essaouira
Free time in Essaouira to explore it on your own or with a guide, then on your own for shopping, or relaxing in this relaxed and friendly small town e.g. ramparts, craft shops in the medina, art galleries and fishing harbor. For lunch there are many small cafés where fresh fish is served. Night in the same hotel with bed and breakfast.
Day 7: Essaouira – Marrakech
After the breakfast in the hotel , we will drive towatds Marrakech through the astonishing Haouz plain, green with argan trees adorned with goats eating argan leaves. Pass through Chichaoua and arrive in the red city. Overnight stay in a riad with breakfast.
Day 8: End of the tour Transfer to the airport. Depend on your flight time
