5 Days Marrakech to Merzouga details :

Day 01:

Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Roses Valley – Dades Gorges.

Depart your 5 Days Marrakech to Merzouga from the hotel in Marrakech over the High Atlas mountains through Tizi n’Tichka (alt 2260 m).On the road you will visit the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou and later continue to Ouarzazate then carry on the road via the road of Thousand-Kasbah through Skoura where you will stop to see a beautiful Kasbah named Amredhyle. then continue to Kelaat M’gouna the capital of the Roses. In the vening you will arrive to Dades Gorges. Night in hotel/kasbah in Dades gorges.

Day 02:

Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga.

After breakfasts you will continue the road through Dades Valley, set off towards Todra Gorges, lunch in the right place then Carry on the road to Merzouga across Jorf palm Trees and the town of Erfoud where you will visit the workshop production of marble fossils. Arrive the impressive dunes of Merzouga, night in a hotel with bed , dinner and breakfast

Day 03:

Tour of the dunes and exploring Merzouga area:

After your breakfast in the Hotel you will start exploring Merzouga aerea visiting the village of (Khamlia) then to Mifis mines and visiting the nomad families living betwen the dunes and the Algerian border befor going back to the hotel where you will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before you camel ride, guided by an experienced camel man to explore within the golden sand sea of Merzouga. Dinner in front of the tent where you will spend the night. (BDB).

Day 04:

Merzouga – Rissani-Alnif-Tazarine – Draa Valley – Agdez – Ouarzazate.

Your camelman will wake you up early in the morning to watch what well may be the best sunrise of your life. You’ll peacefully camel-trek back to the village of Merzouga. Enroute you couldn’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. After breakfast in the riad, you’ll leave for the Palmerie of Tafilalet and the town of Rissani (the origin of the Alaouite dynasty and the ancient capital of Sultans Alaouite) from there to the village of Alnif.

Here we will take the road that traverse all the Jbel Saghro Anti Atlas chain passing the grey-black mountains with different remarkable shapes, crossing the main Berber village of Tazarine and N’kob and from there to the Draa valley with its procession of palms. Late afternoon drive to Ouarzazate via the Anti Atlas mountain through Tizi n Tnifift 1660 m,Overnight in Riad/Kasbah in Ouarzazate.

Day 05:

Ouarzazate – Marrakech.

After breakfast visit of Taourirt Kasbah and Film Studios then departure to Marrakech crossing the high Atlas mountains.Arrive Marrakech around 5:00 PM where your 5 Days Marrakech to Merzouga trip ends.
