Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat

Start your 12 Days Morocco Desert Tour from the Hotel or the Airport by a visit to the iconic Hassan II Mosque. Explore Habous Market, Casablanca’s Coastal Corniche where you ay have lunch. Thhen for Rabat, where you’ll visit the Hassan Tower and Oudaya Kasbah. Check in at your Riad in the Medina with breakfast.

Day 2: Rabat – Chefchaouen

Explore Rabat’s landmarks before heading to Chefchaouen, known as the “blue city.” Wander through its charming streets, visit Kasbah Ali Ben Rachid, and discover Plaza Uta El-Hammam. Overnight in one of Chefchaouen’s picturesque blue hotels with breakfast

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

Travel to Fes via Meknes and Volubilis, short stop at the roman ruins with possibility to visit it if you want and explore Bab Mansour, Sahrij Souani Bassin, and the Mulay Ismail Mausoleum. Drive to Fes in the evening for a night in a Hotel or Riad with breakfast

Day 4: Explore Fes 

Start your day with a visit to the Royal Palace and the old Jewish Quarter. Explore the Sbil garden and the ancient Medina, including Chouara Tannery, Al-Qarawiyyin University, and Medersa Bouanania. Day 5: Fes to Merzouga

Drive through the Middle Atlas, stopping at Ifrane and Azrou. Visit the famous Cedar forest where you may see the wild monkies and arrive at Merzouga late afternoon, taking in scenic landscapes and rare rocks. Many stops for pictures or coffe breaks. Night in a Hotel with dinner, bed and breakfast.

Day 6: Explore Merzouga area & Camel Trekking

Explore the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, visit nomade families living between the Sand dunes and Algerian border, late afternoon you will ride your camels to spend the night in the desert camp. Dinner and breakfast

Day 7: Merzouga – Toudgha Gorges – Dades Valley

Ride your camels back to Merzouga village where you met your driver and drive towards Dades valley with a visit of the Todgha Gorges. Night in a Hotel with dinner and breakfast

Day 8: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate

Drive through Dades Valley, the fertile Rose Valley, visit Kasbah Amridil in Skoura, and reach Ouarzazate in the afternoon; night in the hotel with dinner and breakfast

Day 9: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet – Marrakech

Discover Ouarzazate’s historical and natural features, including its famous film studios, Ait Ben haddou world heritage village. Have lunch in Telouet and descend Tizi-n-Tichka to Marrakech. Arrive late afternoon to Marrakech where your night will be in a Riad with bed and breakfast

Day 10: Marrakech Cultural Visit

Explore Marrakech’s attractions, including the Koutoubia, Saadian tombs, Bahia Palace and Medrassa Ben Youssef. Visit the souks and Medina in the afternoon, concluding the day in Jemaa El Fna square. Night in the same Riad with bed and breakfast.

Day 11: Marrakech – Essaouira

Depart for Essaouira, a world heritage site with a famous fishing port. Explore the old medina, the Jewish quarter, and the Skalla. Enjoy a sea-view lunch, watch the sunset, and spend the night in a Riad/Hotel with breakfast.

Day 12: Essaouira – Casablanca

Drive along the coastal line, enjoying nature and beach views. Arrive in Casablanca, where you can choose to be transferred to your hotel or dropped off at the airport. This will be the end of your 12 Days Morocco Desert Tour . Safe travels!
