TREK IN THE SAHARA

Day 1 

Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Dades gorges

Departure of your 4 Days Marrakech to Sahara from the Hotel over the High Atlas mountains through Tizi n’Tichka (alt 2260 m).On the road you will visit the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou and later continue to Ouarzazate then carry on the road via the road of Thousand-Kasbah through Skoura where you will stop to see a beautiful Kasbah named Amredhyle.

Then continue to Kelaat M’gouna the capital of the Roses. In the vening you will arrive to Dades Gorges. Night in hotel in Dades gorges.

Day 2

Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Dunes

After breakfasts you will continue the road through Dades Valley, set off towards Todra Gorges, lunch in the right place then Carry on the road to Merzouga across Jorf palm Trees and the town of Erfoud where you will visit the workshop production of marble fossils. Arrive the impressive dunes of Merzouga. Late afternoon ride out your camel crossing the ocean of the dunes to spend the night in the camp behind the sand dunes.

Day 3

First day of the trek in the sahara

Start your trek from Camp into the Erg Chebbi dunes to explore and to learn about the unique flora and fauna of the desert. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the dunes and continue your trek, experiencing the changing colors of the sand as the day progresses. Late afternoon you set up camp  or find a setled one in the dunes, either in a traditional Berber tent or under the stars. Enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by your guide and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the desert night.

Day 4

Second day of the trek in the sahara

Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the dunes, a breathtaking and magical experience, have a traditional Berber breakfast in the desert. Then start your second day of the trek to explore more of the Erg Chebbi dunes or visit a nomadic settlement to learn about the desert way of life. Today you have an option to have your lunch with nomads or a picnic in the desert. Late afternoon back towards Merzouga, taking a different route to experience varied landscapes. Night in a hotel with dinner bed and breakfast.

Day 5

Merzouga – Alnif – Tazarine – Agdez – Ouarzazate

After your breakfast in the Hotel, meet your driver and leave towards the Palmerie of Tafilalet and the town of Rissani (the origin of the Alaouite dynasty and the ancient capital of Sultans Alaouite). From there to the village of Alnif, whrer we will take the road that traverse all the Jbel Saghro Anti Atlas chain passing the grey-black mountains with different remarkable shapes, crossing the main Berber village of Tazarine and N’kob and from there to the Draa valley with its procession of palms.

Late afternoon drive to Ouarzazate via the Anti Atlas mountain through Tizi n Tnifift 1660 m. Overnight in Riad/Kasbah in Ouarzazate.

Day 6

Ouarzazate – High Atlas –  Marrakech

After breakfast visit of Taourirt Kasbah and Film Studios then departure to Marrakech crossing the high Atlas mountains with different stops on the way. Arrive Marrakech around 5:00 PM.
